The hostel was beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The common areas were well-maintained and accessible, perfect for senior individuals like myself. I appreciated the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and socialize with fellow travelers. The hostel's location in a smaller town was also ideal for a more peaceful and laid-back vacation experience.
It would have been even better if there were more organized activities specifically catered to senior travelers. While the staff were friendly and helpful, it would have been nice to have more guidance and suggestions geared towards our age group.

Can just recommend.

We had a great time at Aussitel Backpackers! The location was perfect, with plenty of parking available on the street. The lady at the front desk gave us fantastic advice on visiting Dorrigo National Park, which ended up being a highlight of our trip. The communal areas were open and numerous, and our room was spacious. We also appreciated the friendly staff who made us feel welcome. we had a enjoyable and memorable stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The value for money was unbeatable and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, and the staff treated me so well.
The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better was more variety.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offered a variety of daily activities to keep guests busy. The location was convenient, with a short walk to Coles and plenty of nearby convenience stores. They provided a free shuttle to the bus stop, and the WiFi was good, even in the rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy, with good amenities. I particularly loved that they had free access to surfboards, paddle boards, kayaks, and more.
Felt fine, no complaints whatsoever.

Spending my Christmas at this hostel was an incredible experience! the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering Christmas-themed activities throughout the day. the location was perfect, with supermarkets and restaurants in close proximity. they provided a free shuttle service to the bus stop and WiFi, which was available everywhere in the hostel, so I could stay connected with my family back home. the hostel had a chill vibe and a great common area where you could let loose and have a good time.
That the electrical sockets were limited, so I couldn't charge my phone near my bed. this wasn't a big issue since the common area had plenty of sockets I could use.

During my recent stay at Aussitel Backpackers, I had an amazing experience. the staff were exceptional and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the dorm rooms were clean and spacious, and I even noticed the fresh smell of the bedsheets, which is a rarity in hostels. the hostel offers a range of daily activities, some of which are free and others are just $5. I participated in several activities, such as a kangaroo tour and stand-up paddleboarding, and they were all incredible. the hostel's location is also great, just a short walk away from a beautiful beach and river. I highly recommend Aussitel Backpackers and can't wait to stay here again. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 😊.

We had a great time on our romantic getaway. The hotel offered free or very cheap activities every day, which was a nice surprise. We loved the tour to Emerald Beach to see kangaroos for a really affordable price. , the shuttle service to the bus station was very convenient. The hotel is located within walking distance of the beach and the center of town, which was perfect for us. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the pool on hot days.
There were a couple of downsides. The excessive steam and heat in the shower/toilet area due to poor ventilation was a bit annoying.

This hostel boasts an enviable location near a creek, perfect for a serene afternoon stroll. It's also on the main street, providing quick and easy access to restaurants and shops. For beach lovers, Digger's Beach is a short distance away and worth the visit! the rooms and bathrooms are well-maintained and clean. the friendly staff offers free shuttle service to and from the bus station and organizes fun activities such as drinking games, plus free use of surfboards and kayaks. Guests can also purchase snacks and personal food boxes.
There was a lack of privacy in the shower and toilet areas, as they only have American-style partitions instead of real doors.

The Aussitel Backpackers in Coffs Harbour is a wonderful place to explore the East Coast, with its lush hinterland and pristine beaches. It's undoubtedly the best hostel option, offering activities, cheap hire cars, and a great sleep guaranteed.
Who needs hand drying facilities in the bathroom anyway? So overrated.
